Andersen proudly announces Marc Lim as Office Managing Director for Northern California, covering our San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Marc has been instrumental in advising private and public multi-jurisdictional businesses and their stakeholders on complex U.S. and international tax issues, with considerable experience gained from his time in both Silicon Valley and Tokyo, Japan.

Marc brings a wealth of expertise across diverse tax disciplines, including preparation and review of U.S. tax reporting, compliance, and provisions. His expertise includes international tax analysis, strategic tax planning and consultation, alongside addressing complex issues like new business models, supply chain optimization, and internal reorganizations. Marc also excels in foreign tax credit planning, transfer pricing strategies, intellectual property structuring, corporate M&A transactions, and adeptly manages tax controversy matters.
Before joining Andersen, Marc was a tax partner at PwC and most recently was based in Japan, advising a global base of clients on U.S., international, and Japanese tax issues. Over his career, Marc has spent significant time with clients in financial services, e-commerce, software, and other high-tech industries, as well as with cross-border M&A structuring and diligence.
