Strengthening and expanding our capabilities in transaction readiness, Ryan and Won will work with companies to navigate the complex tax landscape associated with mergers and acquisitions, including federal and state tax due diligence, tax structuring and analysis, and cash tax modeling.

Ryan Guthrie assumes the role of leader of the firm's National Financial and Operational Due Diligence group, based in our Orange County, CA office. Ryan brings a comprehensive 25-year history in middle-market transaction advisory services and investment banking. His expertise in advising private equity and corporate clients on buy and sell-side engagements, financial due diligence, and transaction support, coupled with his commitment to developing junior professionals, aligns perfectly with Andersen's values. As the former National Practice Leader of BDO USA's Transaction and Business Advisory Services practice and a Vice President at Citigroup Global Markets, Ryan has consistently delivered exceptional client experiences and spearheaded significant growth. Outside of his professional achievements, Ryan serves as the Board Treasurer for the Folds of Honor Foundation in Southern California.

Won Shin brings a wealth of expertise in various fields, including mergers and acquisitions, transactional modeling, transaction cost analysis, and federal tax strategies. His extensive knowledge of international tax and transaction services positions Andersen to continue delivering outstanding services and solutions to its global clientele. He is based in the Philadelphia office.
Won advises corporate and private equity clients across industries, including aerospace and defense, government contracting, biotech, health care services, hospitality, real estate, energy/utilities, and media and entertainment. He takes a special interest in promoting diversity and inclusion, which has earned him recognition within the legal community, and has shared his insights at prominent industry events, advocating for disability rights and inclusion in the workforce.
