William C. Squires

Bill Squires is a director in the firm's Private Client Service practice in Chicago. Bill has over 30 years of experience in public accounting where he has focused on serving executives, wealthy individuals, and family offices on tax compliance and planning matters relating to:

• Individual income tax
• Fiduciary income tax
• Estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes
• Private foundations
• Investment partnerships
• Representation of clients before IRS and state agencies

Before joining Andersen, Bill was a director in the Private Wealth Practice at Deloitte. Prior to Deloitte, he was a principal with Arthur Andersen. Bill began his career working at a Chicago law firm and a Chicago mid-size public accounting firm.

In addition to his direct client responsibilities, Bill has developed and provided tax professionals with technical support in the areas of his specialization. Bill has been active in the past as an instructor at local office trainings and national training conferences.
