William Scher

William Scher is a director in the Commercial practice and works primarily with corporate clients on federal and international tax issues. He also works extensively with crypto/blockchain/Web3 clients and has deep technical knowledge in that area.

Will advises corporations, their investors, and management in structuring transaction planning and international tax issues, including anti-deferral rules, inbound and outbound tax planning, PFIC considerations, treaty considerations, and foreign exchange rate planning. He also has extensive experience helping clients meet compliance and financial reporting obligations.

Prior to joining Andersen, Will worked with Deloitte's International Tax Services group.

Will has a working knowledge of Spanish.
