Rosa De Luna-Frede

Rosa De Luna-Frede is the Office Managing Director of the Chicago office of Andersen. She has over 20 years of experience advising publicly held and private companies on tax matters such as Accounting for Income Taxes, Accounting Methods, Tax Controversies, and Federal & State Tax Compliance.

Rosa also focuses in the M&A area, specifically in tax structuring, tax due diligence, integration of post-transaction tax matters including business combination requirements under ASC 740, and analyzing the tax treatment of transaction costs.

Prior to joining Andersen, Rosa worked at Kraft Foods and focused on accounting for income taxes, effective tax rate forecasting, and any income tax provision matters arising from acquisitions or divestitures.

Rosa was also a Tax Senior Manager at Grant Thornton advising clients in a variety of corporate tax matters. She has experience with a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, food & beverage, travel, and financial institutions.   

Rosa has been a speaker and instructor on Accounting for Income Taxes at various tax sessions.
