Ron Roberts is a director in the State and Local Tax practice with over two decades of indirect tax and technology integration experience.
Ron's key areas of expertise include:
- Tax automation with a focus on implementation and improvement.
- Business process refinement and integration for large financial and enterprise systems.
- Tax technology solutions for multinational companies.
Ron has led multiple tax automation projects in functional and technical resource roles, implementing and supporting Sales and Use Tax, Consumer's Use Tax, and VAT. He also completed a two-year immersive technology training in automation, data analysis, design thinking, and digital storytelling.
Throughout his career, Ron has consulted on Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P) business process re-engineering, requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, development, testing, and customer support, including client advocacy acting as a liaison between customers and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Before joining Andersen, Ron held positions at Grant Thornton, PwC, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, and multiple consulting firms specializing in indirect tax automation.
