Ramiro Campos-Sanchez

Ramiro Campos is a director within the Andersen Valuation practice. Ramiro has more than 20 years of experience in the appraisal of machinery and equipment and real estate, construction cost analysis, project monitoring, depreciation and obsolescence studies, and cost segregation. Prior to joining Andersen, Ramiro was a manager in the valuation services practices of American Appraisal, Marsh & McLellan, and Huron Consulting Group. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing significant engagements involving the valuation of fixed assets and other fixed asset management and consulting services. His experience includes the implementation of large fixed asset management systems designed to help clients with financial and tax reporting and setting insurance premiums.

Ramiro began his appraisal career with Factory Mutual ("FM"), a global insurance provider. During his years with FM, he assisted clients worldwide with establishing a cost basis for their insurance premiums, and also performed quality control and procedure audits for certification and approval requirements. His experience included the estimation of replacement costs, based on Greenfield methodologies, for large interconnected systems, including wire line and wireless telecommunication networks, major utilities, and a wide variety of chemical processing plants (e.g., petroleum, metals and mining, pharmaceuticals, and pulp and paper, among others).

Ramiro has performed appraisals for financial reporting (including purchase price allocations, impairment analyses, and fresh start accounting), tax planning and compliance (including estate and gift tax reporting, domestic and international tax planning, and charitable contributions), leasing, asset disposition and transfer, asset based lending, and litigation.

He has performed and supervised the valuation of tangible assets (machinery and equipment as well as real estate) in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
