Sarah Lund

Sarah Lund is a director in the Private Accounting Solutions practice, bringing more than two decades of experience specializing in financial reporting, tax planning and advisory for hedge funds, private equity, family offices, and founders.

Her extensive background encompasses the establishment and management of family offices and tax departments catering to private equity and hedge fund founders. In addition, Sarah has provided counsel to founders on various aspects, including business initiation, succession, tax structuring, and estate planning.

Before joining Andersen, Sarah held several positions, including serving as Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, where she established both the family office for two of the founding partners and the internal private equity tax department during periods of substantial growth. Sarah also served as Deputy CFO at Magnetar Capital, where she was responsible for the management of financial and tax matters as well as advising on a minority stake sale of the management company. Additionally, Sarah'ss background features tax advisory work at EY and Moss Adams, where she focused on real estate tax advisory, partnership planning and compliance.
