Victoria Lam is a director in the Commercial practice who has over 10 years of experience advising clients on a variety of federal income tax matters, including complex corporate tax issues and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. Her main practice area is M&A quantitative consulting services, including tax attribute planning and computation services, transaction cost analysis, and qualified small business stock ("QSBS") consulting. She also advises clients on a wide range of other corporate tax consulting matters, including planning, research, automation, credits and incentive optimization, and reporting. Victoria advises a wide range of clients, from large, public companies to private businesses, including start-ups.

Prior to joining Andersen, Victoria worked in the accounting and finance department at a real estate company, and before that, she was with KPMG in Los Angeles, assisting alternative investment fund clients with their federal and state tax compliance and consulting matters.

Victoria's primary areas of practice include:

  • Tax attribute utilization and planning strategies, including Section 382/NBIG analysis
  • Transaction cost analyses
  • QSBS tax planning and consulting services
  • Credits and incentives compliance services and reporting automation solution design and implementation
  • Transaction-related matters, including tax due diligence, modeling, and post-closing integration
