Siobhan (Foley) Greiner is a director in Andersen's US National Tax practice. With over a decade of experience, Siobhan began her career in the Private Client Services practice at Andersen. During this time, she developed an expertise working with wealthy families and their private foundations and other tax exempt entities.
Siobhan has advised some of the largest private foundations in the country regarding excise tax on investment income, self dealing, excess business holdings, unrelated business income tax, program related investments, expenditure responsibility and other related issues. Siobhan also advises on private foundation alternatives, public charities, other tax exempt organizations and charitable giving strategies and structures.
In addition to Siobhan's primary focus on tax exempt organizations, she has many years of experience assisting high-net-worth individuals and multi-generational family groups with wealth transfer planning and income tax compliance. This work has included international tax and expatriation planning, advising hedge and private equity fund principals, and working in conjunction with family offices and other professional advisors.
