Scott Garrod

Scott Garrod is a director in the Alternative Investment Services practice at Andersen. He has over 25 years of experience in taxation and management with extensive knowledge of the alternative investments sector within the financial services industry.

Throughout his career, Scott has focused on providing federal and state tax compliance, planning, structuring, and consulting services to a broad range of organizations, including VC/PE management companies, funds, portfolio companies, and investors. His expertise includes advising clients throughout the entire fund lifecycle, from formation to operations, investment sales, and fund wrap-up.

Scott is a Big Four accounting firm veteran and has worked in the national tax and local practices for Coopers & Lybrand, Arthur Andersen, and EY.
