Sallie Faucett has over 15 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting; advising clients on a variety of areas. Before joining Andersen, Sallie practiced with KPMG in Seattle for 11 years. She has spent much of her professional career working closely with and assisting tax departments of large, complex, multistate corporations with their federal and state income tax filing obligations.

Sallie has also worked with large public and private corporations on their financial statement tax provisions (ASC 740), financial statement disclosures and purchase accounting. She has experience with a wide variety of industries, including software and technology, manufacturing and distribution, and telecommunications.

Sallie's experience includes:

  • Tax planning and compliance services, including full-out source and review-only engagements
  • Tax department outsourcing and co-sourcing arrangements
  • Computation of tax provisions in financial statements, tax accounting for foreign operations, sustainability of uncertain tax positions, and footnote disclosures of tax matters in financial statements

  • Net operating loss carryback claims - both federal and state
  • Corporate earnings and profit studies
  • Assistance with Internal Revenue Service audits
