Kane Duncan is a director with Andersen in the Valuation practice located in the firm's San Francisco office. As part of Andersen's Valuation practice, Kane performs valuation analysis and consulting assignments for estate tax planning, financial reporting (including ASC 805, 350, and 360), bankruptcy, and charitable contributions.

Kane has experience in the valuation of a broad range of real estate assets, including all conventional commercial real estate assets, comprising industrial, retail, subdivisions, vacant land, shopping center, and multi-family, as well as non-conventional assets such as conservation and sway easements, leasehold interests, mineral rights, and going concern value.

Additionally, Kane has experience formulating blockage and bulk sale discounts and determining stigma and diminution of value due to environmental contamination.

Prior to joining Andersen, Kane served four years as a senior analyst with a firm that specializes in estate tax and planning valuation, as well as working as an actuary.
