Jeff Dang is a director in the firm's San Francisco Valuation practice. He has experience in valuing an array of property types including industrial buildings, wineries, shopping centers, conservation easements, hotels, commercial office space, and agricultural land. He works with clients on appraisals related to estate tax/planning, financial reporting (ASC Topics 805, 350, 360 and 820), financing, litigation support, and charitable contribution work.
Prior to joining Andersen, Jeff worked as a residential appraiser in the Alameda/Contra Costa County region, specializing in Assessment Appeals and Probate Referee work.
Jeff is a Certified General Appraiser in California, Nevada, and Florida with over 300 hours of education in the real estate and valuation fields. He is also a member of the OCA-East Bay chapter, a non-profit community group which advocates for the political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans in the San Francisco Bay area. He also volunteers with the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation, which is a community development organization that builds healthy and affordable neighborhoods in Oakland and the greater East Bay.
