Helen Castro is a director in the Commercial tax practice, focusing on entities operating in a pass-through structure. She brings over 14 years of experience providing tax planning, accounting, and consulting.

Helen is a lead client contact for numerous partnerships, family offices, and S corporations. She specializes in many industries including private equity, real estate, and professional services. Throughout her career, Helen has provided expertise in accounting, auditing, transaction planning for mergers and acquisitions, and financial statement preparation.

Helen proudly started her career with Arthur Andersen. A Northern Virginia native, her previous work in small and mid-sized accounting firms gave her extensive, hands-on experience working with businesses and their owners. Currently, Helen enjoys serving on the Thomson Reuters GoSystems Advisory Board, providing valuable feedback and recommendations for software enhancements and improvement.
